Since 1987, Chris has been dedicated to developing and leading energy efficiency, demand response and distributed generation programs and projects in the public and commercial sectors. She was previously the Vice President of Technical Services at Ecology Action where she led the project delivery services for the public agency and hospitality programs. As Director of Programs at the Energy Coalition, she led the design and implementation of a public agency services program that utilizes job order contracts to expedite whole building and street lighting retrofits across twelve counties as part of the Southern California Regional Energy Network (SoCalREN). Prior to that Chris spent a combined 22 years designing, developing and managing large scale energy efficiency programs and projects while working for the City and County of San Francisco. Chris is passionate about addressing climate change and has published numerous papers on innovative program delivery methods for scaling up the energy efficiency industry.
Chris holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Colorado and serves on the Board of the Women Energy Associates.
